Celebrating Matariki

Over the last couple of weeks children at Nelson Central School have been celebrating Matariki.  As part of our celebrations we had a school hangi.
Be sure to check out the awesome artwork Kahikatea syndicate children did as well.  It is on display in the Kahikatea corridor.

Cross Country

Nelson Central School's cross country was held on Friday 7 June.  Check out the pictures below of the awesome Room 6 runners!  Thank you to all the parents that came along and cheered us on. 

Rugby Skills

At the start of Term Two Room 6 was lucky enough to have Shaun Begg from the Tasman Makos come and teach us some rugby skills.

Kahikatea Swimming Carnival
